This policy explains what the CogniGlide Security Checkup collects and why. It's operated by CogniGlide, LLC.

What we collect

• Your email address, when you sign in with an email link. We note whether it looks like a work or personal mailbox.
• A scan log for every check you request: your email, your IP address, the domain checked, the date and time, your browser's user-agent, and the result (grade and score).
• Scan results for the domain you checked (public DNS records, certificate details, website headers).

We don't ask for passwords, and we don't collect payment information on this site.

Why

• To show you your report.
• To prevent abuse (rate limits, investigating complaints from domain owners).
• To follow up about your results if you've asked us to, or to offer a free security assessment.

Where it's stored

The app runs on Netlify. Sign-in uses Netlify Identity and the scan log is stored in Netlify Database (managed Postgres). We don't sell your data or share it with advertisers.

How long we keep it

Scan logs are kept for up to 12 months for abuse prevention unless a longer period is required by law. You can ask us to delete your account and associated logs at any time.
